SEC Plans to Hold Artificial Intelligence Roundtable

On Thursday, March 27 from 9:00am- 4:00pm ET the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) plans to hold an “Artificial Intelligence Roundtable” for interested parties. The goal of the program is to “discuss the risks, benefits, and governance of AI in the financial industry.” According to the event webpage, SEC Acting Chairman Mark Uyeda, Commissioner Hester Peirce, and Commissioner Caroline Crenshaw will likely deliver remarks. The event is free and offers a virtual option for those that cannot attend in person. An agenda will be released closer to the event date.
