MFDF Statement on the Passing of Former SEC Chair William Donaldson

MFDF is saddened to learn of the passing of former Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman William Donaldson. As Chairman, he led an effort to enhance the independence of fund directors to empower them to better serve fund shareholders. His efforts to strengthen fund boards paved the way for the strong independent directors that serve funds today. Our deepest condolences to his family and friends.
