SEC Publishes Investment Adviser Statistics Report

In May, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced the publication of the Investment Adviser Data report which is a compilation of aggregated data filed by investment advisers on Form ADV. The report, which will be updated annually, covers adviser activities, client composition, and detailed information on the types of funds offered. The report highlights the number of private funds advised by investment advisers along with the type of fund, the number and type of service providers used, and the type of clients they serve.
