SEC Spring Agenda Update Released
The Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA) recently released the SEC’s 2023 Spring regulatory priority list. Of note to fund directors, the agenda mentions anticipated regulatory action on “Fund Fee and Disclosure Reform” for April 2024. Please see below for the SEC’s anticipated timeline of final rule proposals which is non-binding and is subject to change.

In a statement, SEC Chair Gary Gensler noted, “our Commission has updated its ruleset to meet the challenges of a new hour.” He added the agency’s agenda is “[c]onsistent with our legal mandate, guided by economic analysis, and informed by public comment...”
