UPDATED: SEC to Host Investment Management Program on Emerging Trends

The SEC’s Division of Investment Management announced an inaugural program entitled, “Conference on Emerging Trends in Asset Management.” The conference will include a variety of industry and academic experts from the asset management space including Dalia Blass, Lisa Fairfax, and Anne Robinson. SEC Chair Gary Gensler and the Director of the Division of Investment Management William Birdthistle will also deliver keynote remarks at the beginning of the program. Panels will touch on corporate governance, investment complexity, private funds, fund trends, and investment innovation. The event is scheduled for Friday, May 19 at 10:00am ET and will be available to the public through a broadcast on the Division of Investment Management webpage.
