Ropes & Gray released the third episode in their series “The Data Day” which examines the “day-to-day effects that data has on all of our lives.” The series focuses on the legal and regulatory developments in the world of data, privacy, and cybersecurity. In the most recent episode, Fran Faircloth, a partner in Ropes & Gray's Washington, D.C. office, and Edward Machin, a London-based associate, are joined by special guest Jackie Koven, who is head of cyber threat intelligence at blockchain analysis firm, Chainalysis. This episode specifically focuses on tracking cyber criminals in the cryptocurrency space through blockchain technology and the responsibility of reporting breaches.
