K&L Gates Publishes “ESG and the Sustainable Economy Handbook”

K&L Gates published another chapter in a series entitled “ESG and the Sustainable Economy Handbook” which examines “how investors evaluate companies based on ESG and sustainability criteria, the way companies incorporate these standards into their operating principles, and the legal and financial considerations for both groups.” Sections of the handbook are pertinent to directors including those titled “Perspectives in ESG and Sustainable Investment” as well as “The Growing Risk of ESG-Related Liabilities.” These chapters outline risks in the ESG space including greenwashing, marketing, regulatory updates, and risk assessment.
