Panelists from regulatory agencies, cybersecurity organizations and leading US companies join EY cybersecurity leaders in a series of webinars aimed at directors to provide an objective look at: the latest trends and lessons learned from ransomware attacks; insights and guiding principles for cybersecurity risk governance and oversight; and regulatory perspectives, including current thinking at the federal level. Leading practices for cyber oversight: This wide-ranging discussion of governance issues relating to cybersecurity will include a review of the principles in the National Association of Corporate Directors Cyber-Risk Oversight guide and National Institute of Standards and Technology Cybersecurity Framework. Alternative approaches to oversight will be included comparing the roles of the audit committee, a specialized cybersecurity/tech committee, an ad hoc committee and the full board. Board processes and resources will be addressed, as well as the integration of cyber oversight with enterprise risk management.
