Financial Services Salaries Expected to Climb
Consulting firm Johnson Associates projects that asset management salaries will rise in the second half of the year, as first reported in Institutional Investor. According to a Johnson Associates report, after the second quarter the traditional asset management sector can expect to see “meaningful year-end increases in incentive compensation across financial services.” The report cited several factors, all led by the recent market surge. For instance, the report pointed that market appreciation sent AUMs higher and boosted asset inflows and growth in certain strategies such as fixed-income and multi-asset.
