On March 23, 2020, the Federal Reserve Board extended a vital lifeline to an asset-backed securities market reeling from the economic dislocation brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic by announcing the establishment of the Term Asset-Backed Securities Loan Facility (TALF 2020). TALF 2020 lasts until September 30, 2020 and its eligibility criteria permits registered funds to participate.
