MFDF Announces Wyderko’s Successor
The Mutual Fund Directors Forum has announced that Carolyn McPhillips, Senior Counsel of the Forum, will succeed Susan Wyderko as President upon Susan's retirement in June 2020. In a press release, Kay Dryden, chair of the MFDF’s board of directors, said McPhillips is well suited to step into the role of President of the Forum and is uniquely qualified to meet the challenges and opportunities that are ahead for fund directors. “For 15 years, Carolyn has helped guide this organization to become a leader in the independent director community. The Board welcomes her leadership and is excited about her vision for the future of the Forum.” Wyderko also praised McPhillips, noting her “critical role for this organization and its members, through ups and downs in the markets and amidst a sea change in the regulatory climate.”
