As the IPO market for traditional listed closed-end funds continues to remain slow, more closed-end funds are being structured as interval funds and tender offer funds.  These funds are not listed on a stock exchange, are offered on a continuous basis and may provide certain advantages over listed closed-end funds.  Jennifer Gonzalez, a partner at K&L Gates, will discuss some of the differences between interval funds and tender offer funds and certain issues fund directors may face in overseeing these funds.
