Amy Snyder
Amy Snyder is a Tax Principal in Ernst & Young’s Wealth and Asset Management practice and has over 20 years of experience advising registered funds, including mutual funds, ETFs, closed-end funds, and business development companies on technical tax and compliance matters.
Prior to joining EY, Amy spent seven years as a senior tax counsel in the legal department of The Vanguard Group, Inc., one of the world’s largest asset managers. Amy was also a tax partner at Ropes & Gray LLP, an international law firm, working with a wide range of the firm’s investment management clients.
Amy is a former Chair of the Investment Management Committee of the American Bar Association Tax Section and former Member of the Conference Advisory Board of the Philadelphia Tax Conference. She received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Notre Dame and a J.D. from Boston College Law School.
