The House Financial Services Committee, chaired by Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA), continues a full financial regulatory reform calendar today with hearings on "Perspectives on the Consumer Financial Protection Agency" at 10:00AM and "Reforming Credit Rating Agencies" (Capital Markets Subcommittee) at 2:00PM, both in the Rayburn House Office Building (room 2128). Both hearings can be heard via live webcast from a link on the Committee's website. In coming weeks, the committee will hold hearings on:
- Capital market issues on October 2 and 6,
- Derivatives regulation on October 7, and
- Systematic and prudential banking reform issues on October 8 and 9.
