Joint SEC and CFTC Meeting Agendas and Panelists

As we mentioned in our August 25 post, "SEC and CFTC Announce Meetings on Harmonizing Regulations," joint SEC and CFTC open meetings will be held today at the CFTC and tomorrow at the SEC.  The meetings are open to the public, but also will be webcast via links on the agencies' websites.   Recordings of each meeting should also be available for those who wish to listen after the events have occurred.

Today's meeting at the CFTC will consist of three panels: covering "Exchanges, Markets, Clearance and Settlement, and Margin Requirements" and "Intermediaries."  Today's agenda and panelists will be:
