The Mutual Fund Directors Forum and the Center for Financial Policy at the University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business will co-sponsor this program on April 20, 2016 in Washington, DC. As fixed income markets evolve – including changes in dealer markets and increasing volatility – fixed income funds have changed as well. The program will explore current challenges for boards overseeing fixed income funds. Conference panels will explore:
• How changes in fixed income markets have impacted bond fund investments
• Board oversight challenges, including valuation, best execution, and the potential impact of the SEC’s derivatives proposal.
• How fund boards can evolve to oversee the more complex fund funds of the future.
This event is closed to the media.
This program is open to all professionals in the mutual fund industry.
